The next distraction the Democrats are rolling out is using the “KKK Act” from the 1800’s to prosecute various Republicans involved in the January 6 “Capitol Siege.”
The suit — filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C., on behalf of U.S. Rep. Bennie Thompson, a Mississippi Democrat — alleges that Trump, his personal attorney Rudy Giuliani and the groups the Proud Boys and the Oath Keepers violated the Ku Klux Klan Act of 1871 when they attempted to prevent Congress from certifying the results of the 2020 election.
Now, the lawsuit says Trump and others violated the Ku Klux Klan Act by conspiring to prevent members of Congress from “discharging these official duties.” “Members of the Ku Klux Klan, for example, terrorized Black citizens for exercising their right to vote, running for public office, and serving on juries,” the U.S. Senate archives say.
What is the Ku Klux Klan Act? Lawsuit over Capitol riot says Trump, Giuliani and others violated it
Just like “Russiagate” – the Democrats are going to go out of their way to obscure which Trump official ordered a kind of “stand down” and let the various goofballs – like the “QAnon Shaman” – in to take selfies.
It’s virtually certain that no one important will actually be prosecuted, but they could very well railroad some poor Trumptard.
The point is that for the next six months the entire mass media will be talking about “the KKK” and how Trump voters are “KKK” and did we mention the KKK?
So, Congress passed multiple “enforcement acts” in 1870 and 1871 in response. Included in the statutes was a provision nicknamed the Ku Klux Klan Act, which was introduced in March 1871 by Rep. Samuel Shellabarger of Ohio. It was later signed into law by President Ulysses S. Grant in April. The Ku Klux Klan Act was designed to eliminate the violence against Black Americans and to protect the rights of those recently freed from slavery.
How will the Republicans respond?
They will point out that Senator Robert Byrd of West Virginia was in the Ku Klux Klan back in the 1940’s and that the Ku Klux Klan was mostly Democratic.
Democrats are the real KKK.
At least it’s a change from “Trump is Hitler and Republicans are Nazi.” A little change is good thing, so it doesn’t get boring.
Honk honk!
You have to admit, they are clever. Whodda thought they could keep spinning out Trump stories. No wonder they took over the entertainment world. Trump is the new Trek.

In other news, El Rushbo bit the dust! I thought that he would at least on his last few shows touch some of the political third rails, but no, he cucked til’ the end like a good Republican.

Haha yes, and Fox News subjected its audience to a 24-hour forced veneration of the bastard. The cherry-on-top was Tucker bringing on (((Brian Glicklich))), Limbaugh’s “spokesman” to tell us all how much he “loved America” and how talented he was and how passionately he defended free speech.
You know what they say: Behind every great “White” conservative…is a Jew. And always patriotic.

Just found the blog recently and have been reading older posts today. Ran across this comment and wanted to link an article from 2015 that gives some insight on Elon Musk.

Elon Musk’s spook role is mostly that of actor/faceman. He’s hardly a genius. When actual experts hear Elon opine about their field, the lightbulb goes on. “Oh. This guy doesn’t know what he’s talking about. He’s a bullshitter.”
He supposedly has nine jobs….Chief Engineer, Chief Product Designer, and Chief Executive Officer, of Tesla, SpaceX, and the Boring Company.
He must be very busy visiting offices and factories, right? Nope! He spends most of his time tweeting and partying in Hollywood. He’s a promoter, not a mastermind.

Midwit bluster: the PDF. Loose prose, poorly reasoned arguments, haphazard structure.
Worse, it betrays a fundamental misunderstanding of the function of compartmentalization, publicly and privately. They don’t “manufacture” people; instead, they pick and choose whose signal they want to boost.
Elon Musk is exactly who he is represented to be: an immensely intelligent engineer-dork with an incredible ability to persuade highly intelligent engineer-dorks.
Tesla is building the infrastructure to centralize the ownership and administration of the means of transportation. The Boring Company is building the infrastructure to supersede the public road network. SpaceX is building the infrastructure to establish an off-world corporate colony. Starlink is building the infrastructure to facilitate the rollout of a global digital currency. Neuralink is building the infrastructure to monitor and modify human cognition.
When you own the corporations, you can have as many “jobs” as you want. I, personally, could appoint a horse to be an officer. “Yes, Mr. Banker, do you see this certificate? This horse is officially authorized to bind the corporation. His name is Incitatus; please issue him a credit card forthwith.”
