[Insert Law Firm Joke Here]
“Why would Iraq attack America or use nuclear weapons against us? I’ll tell you what I think the real threat is and actually has been since 1990 – it’s the threat against Israel. And this is the threat that dare not speak its name, because the Europeans don’t care deeply about that threat, I will tell you frankly. And the American government doesn’t want to lean too hard on it rhetorically, because it is not a popular sell.”
Noam Chomsky, extreme left-winger. Curtis Yarvin, extreme right-winger. Jeffrey Goldberg, liberal centrist. David Frum, moderate conservative.
Four totally different people with completely different world-views, right?
When I was at university I “discovered” Noam Chomsky, by which I mean someone told me about him. A bit later I watched his hagiography Manufacturing Consent and was just naive enough to buy the Chomsky gimmick.
Chomsky was, at the time, shilling for “the Kurds” against Turkey. Apparently we were supposed to be outraged that America, via NATO, was supporting Turkey who was engaging in “cultural genocide” against the Kurds. Chomsky specifically mentioned that the language was being suppressed at even various Kurdish flags were outlawed.
Only much later – around 2005 – did I finally figure out what a lying propagandist Noam Chomsky is. Of course, right-wing conservatives complain that he is a “Communist” and “denied the atrocities of the Khmer Rouge.” But, of course, right-wingers managed to get everything wrong.
In reality, Noam Chomsky is a Zionist, 100% dedicated to not just the apartheid regime of Jew bigotry in Zionist-occupied Palestine, but more importantly, the Jewish establishment in America. Chomsky’s entire gimmick is all about mystifying power relations in America.
Chomsky really outed himself in 2006, when Mearshimer and Walt published The Israel Lobby.
Chomsky explains that Mearshimer and Walt were totally wrong to believe that an Israel “Lobby” exists, but if it did it has no power, and everything Mearshimer and Walt were complaining about is actually caused by:
strategic-economic interests of concentrations of domestic power in the tight state-corporate linkage
Because, apparently, Jewish Zionists have no concentrated “domestic power” and have no presence in any “tight state-corporate linkage[s].”
No, you see, it’s the WASPs.
Who knew? Noam Chomsky was doing the Curtis Yarvin/Mencuis Moldbug bit, well, at the exact same time that Curtis Yarvin was doing that bit.
It was at the exact time that Mearshimer and Walt’s Israel Lobby came out that Mencius Moldbug’s four day old anonymous Google blog was all of a sudden endorsed by Andew Sullivan, the celebrity pro-war Zionist Neo-Conservative at The Atlantic.
Oh, and yes, that’s right. The Atlantic was the “US journal” that had originally planned to publish Mearshimer and Walt, but refused to when they realized that Mearshimer and Walt were going to actually desribe the Israel Lobby and not write another piece about why Southern White Christians who voted for George W. Bush were bad.
So the Atlantic’s star warmonger decided to instead shill for a no-name anonymous blog – four days after the Google account was registered – who said that Ron Paul and the “anti-semites” had it all wrong:
It’s not the Jews – it’s the Neo-Calvinists who run Harvard University. You know, the “WASP’s” – the same White Anglo-Saxon Protestants that oppressed Jews by not inviting them to their private golf clubs because of their virulent anti-semitism.
Which is exactly what Noam Chomsky says. It’s the “Neo-Liberals” at Harvard – certainly not Jews – that start all the wars. And, Chomsky is quick to note, the Neo-Liberals at Harvard are “white males.”
Not Jewish white males – well, some are Jewish white males, but their Jewish identity has nothing whatsoever to do with their support for Israel and wars in Israel’s interests.
Now why was Chomsky shilling for the Kurds in the late 90’s and early 2000’s?
Well, the Kurdish terrorist group PKK has, for decades, served as an Israeli proxy force against their neighbors. When Erdogan came to power, all of a sudden Turkey wasn’t bowing and scraping to Tel Aviv anymore.
So Chomsky started a string of papers and talks where he complained about Turkey and their “oppression” of Israel’s terrorist allies, the PKK, lying to his audience of naive college students that the PKK terrorists were somehow the “true voice of the Kurdish people.”
I got to thinking, if Turkey is bad for suppressing Kurdish flags because of the secession movement, why isn’t the USA bad for banning the Confederate flag?
Oh, is it because the Confederate flag stands for “racism” because of their Jim Crow apartheid policies?
If apartheid is bad – Chomsky certainly supported the end of apartheid in South Africa – and apartheid is bad in the Southern USA …
… well, why is apartheid acceptable in Palestine, when it’s done by Jews against Palestinians?
Oh – no – that’s different! Jews have been oppressed forever! Nazi! Hitler! Anti-semitism! Oy vey it’s like Auschwitz all over again!
