The Anti-Defamation League says that Hate Has Consequences, and they are considered the official line by Wikipedia and all of corporate America.

Just voting for Trump is not itself illegal nor is it necessarily proof of hate. But maybe a lot of Trump supports might want to look inside and find out if they voted for Trump for hateful reasons. It’s probably not a good idea to admit you voted for Trump in public at all, unless you are apologizing.

One image he shared depicted a group of Democrats, including Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, wearing prison jumpsuits. Under the image he wrote: “I pray all those in that picture hang on the gallows and are drawn and quartered!!!! Anything less is not acceptable.”

No one is going to go and arrest your racist Uncle Larry or anything, but he can expect to have his Facebook suspended for posting this sort of hate speech.

But obviously the Chief of Police can’t go posting stuff like this. So take this as a lesson, Trump voters.

Hate has consequences.
